For years, we watched small and Indigenous communities spend tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars on traditional community energy plans, only to end up with a static, overly-technical PDF report that sits on a shelf.

We founded Peregrine to flip the script. By combining deep sustainability planning expertise with modern software design, we've made comprehensive, ISO-compliant climate modeling accessible, affordable, and actionable. Meet the team
Devon is a sustainability planner with over a decade of experience designing climate policies and community energy plans across Canada. Known for translating complex environmental data into plain, actionable language, he has led the development of Community Energy and Emissions Plans (CEEPs) for diverse municipalities and Indigenous communities.
An award-winning innovator, Devon created the BC Hydro Local Government Low Carbon Building Policy Toolkit (winner of the PIBC New Directions in Planning Award). He also leads an energy coaching service for Indigenous communities, bringing hands-on, real-world expertise straight to the Peregrine platform.
Nick is a multidisciplinary software professional with more than ten years of experience building powerful, user-friendly digital products. He specializes in UX/UI design, product management, and turning complex backend data into intuitive user experiences.
Over his career, Nick has launched seven commercial SaaS applications and directed dozens of custom software projects, including a $7.8M Canadian Digital Supercluster initiative to optimize forecasting for the forestry sector. He is dedicated to iterating quickly on user feedback to ensure Peregrine remains fast, flexible, and built for real-world utility.
